Since 1912, Walkerpack has been helping customers move, store, pack and protect goods with care, precision and reliability.

What began as a Northamptonshire removals business has grown into a specialist warehouse, packing, fulfilment and logistics partner supporting complex operational requirements.

Today, we work with customers in automotive, industrial, retail, ecommerce and general merchandise, delivering hands-on support backed by experienced people, established facilities and robust warehouse systems.

Walkerpack has been part of the logistics industry for more than a century. That history shows the kind of business we are: stable, practical, adaptable and built to support customers for the long term.

Over the years, we have evolved alongside our customers’ needs. From removals, we expanded into storage and packing. In the 1940s, we were storing, packing and shipping military equipment. In the 1950s, we moved into automotive packing, laying the foundations for the specialist operational support we provide today.

That same spirit of adaptability still defines Walkerpack now. Our services span warehousing, fulfilment, packing and logistics, with the systems, people and facilities to support both day-to-day operations and more specialist requirements.

A Walkerpack Timeline

1912

Walkerpack begins as a Northamptonshire removals business.

1940s

The business expands into storing, packing and shipping military equipment.

1950s

Walkerpack moves into automotive packing, building expertise in supporting complex industrial supply chains.

1968 To Present

Walkerpack has supported Ford continuously since 1968 and today handles more than 30 million parts each year.

1992

The Technicover manufacturing division is added.

2006

Walkerpack is acquired from the Walker family.

2016

A 25,000 sq ft office and warehouse facility is acquired near the Brackmills headquarters.

2021

The 133,000 sq ft Lilliput 133 warehouse is added, including 3,500 racked pallet locations and more than 80,000 sq ft of operational space.

Today

Walkerpack operates across three sites with around 500,000 sq ft of capacity and a team of 170+ mainly permanent employees, supporting customers with warehousing, packing, fulfilment and logistics services from Northamptonshire.

Our location in Northampton places us in the heart of the UK’s logistics golden triangle, with excellent access to the M1 at Junction 15 and nearby rail connections.

Across our three-site operation, Walkerpack offers 500,000 sq ft of capacity, giving customers room to scale while keeping their warehousing, packing and fulfilment support close to key transport routes.

WMS Visibility And Control

Our WMS supports accurate stock management across inbound, storage and outbound processes, giving customers clear visibility and stronger control throughout the operation. Barcode scanning and handheld devices help maintain accuracy at each stage, while online access to stock and transaction data makes it easier to track movement, monitor activity and stay informed.

With reporting, KPI tracking and transaction records built into the process, customers benefit from better visibility, improved stock integrity and a warehouse operation that is managed with accuracy, consistency and accountability .
